Labor Day Festivities

We had such a fun labor day weekend! Some of Brad's family came down to meet William. Beverly, Kevin, Blair & adorable little Max flew in on friday night,  September 2nd. Wes flew in the following morning. On Saturday, Bev, Blair & I took the boys for a walk at a local park, White Oak Park near my old high school. Saturday night we grilled some turkey burgers and hung out. It was still really hot so the kids couldn't be outside too long but there was also some croquet enjoyed!

 On Sunday, we drove out to Serenbe Farms to enjoy lunch at the farmhouse. We took a little walk but unfortunately the rain moved in so I couldn't show them as much of the farm as I had planned!

 

We enjoyed a visit from Rian, Lauren, Lauren's sister - Erin & baby Savannah on Sunday afternoon. Savannah was very interested in Max since he was walking around. Max is one month older than Savannah. He started walking very early, around 9 months and Savannah was dying to chase him around but she's not yet walking. I can't believe Max just turned one this past friday! (September 23rd!)

 Brad is soaking wet in this photo because he was grilling the salmon & eggplant in the rain! What a great husband & host! :)

 Pajama pics! These are my fave and we have to make sure we get these at least once a year!

 Erika & Matt were in town from Baltimore and stopped by for a quick visit to meet baby William. It was so great to see them! These two lovebirds are getting married Fall 2012 in Asheville NC. Can't wait for their special day!
