Half Way There!!

How far along? 20 weeks

Total weight gain/loss? 11 lbs

Maternity clothes? oh yeah! love love maternity clothes. So much more comfty!

Stretch marks? not yet...but I wouldn't be surprised. Its likely in my genes.

Morning Sickness?  nope. I feel great!

Sleep?  I fall asleep fast but most nights I wake up around 3:30 and I have a hard time falling back asleep. I think its a combination of weird dreams, busy mind & having to go to the bathroom!

Best moment last week? Feeling our sweet little baby boy kick for the first time! This happened last Tuesday (at the time I was 18weeks, 6 days). I felt him kick and wondered if it was him but quickly dismissed the idea. The next night (after dinner again - because I'm actually sitting still) I felt him again and then again on Thursday. On Friday night (19w2d), I came home from a late dinner with some of the girls and was sitting next to Brad on the couch. I could feel Will moving and told Brad to put his hand there. Just when Brad was about to give up (he doesn't wait very long), Will gave a very distinct kick! Brad was so happy to feel it and it made me very happy too!! I LOVE LOVE to feel our little guy moving around and kicking!

Worst moment last week?  Trying to catch up at work after having a week vacation.

Movement? Sweet little kicks and a lot of wiggling around, especially today!
He must be going through a growth spurt because I had some serious round ligament pain today and I haven't had that very much in the past week or so.

Food cravings? Still fruit, leafy veggies...I craved a burger last night but I only ate half. :)

Gender? I was wrong - our sweet little boy is NOT a girl. I am just so thrilled to know he is a boy and to call him by name. William Jacob Kimmel :)

Labor signs? no, thank the Lord.

Belly button in/out? in....but I swear it looks so weird and is starting to really stretch. The depth of my belly button is not what it used to be and I wouldn't be surprised if it popped out.

What I miss: sushi! I really wanted some this week! I also wanted diet coke this week but I'm sticking to my one cup of coffee each morning and I have another caffeinated soda or tea as a treat about every 7-10 days.

What I am looking forward to:  Decorating his nursery! ....if I could only find bedding I like so I can choose the paint colors.

Milestones: from babycenter.com:
Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana.(Or the size of a small cantaloupe according to another pregnancy update site.) For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.
He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

These are the 20 week ultrasound photos. They are not the best we've had. They were primarily measuring everything so we have a bunch of photos of his arms, legs, head, etc. Not very many of  all of him. I guess we got spoiled at the 18 week appointment where we found out the gender! :)
