Security Blanket

So I've been talking about this for several months now and I finally did it. I cut 10.5 inches off my hair on February 6th. I've been growing it out so I can donate it to Locks of Love (a non-profit that makes wigs for children with illnesses that cause hair loss and cannot afford the wigs themselves). I used to do this all the time in highschool and the beginning of college but its been about 10 years since its been this short. I knew that I would need at least 10 inches and that Brad would not be a fan of short hair. Well, I knew he wouldn't like but little did I know...he hated it. I personally like my hair cut. (Soren Salon in Buckhead...See Ashley, she's been cutting my hair for years!) I like the cut a lot but I do have to admit that having long hair is just really easy (despite the long drying time). Short hair is kind of annoying when I go to work out and have to put 1/2 of it up like Pebbles from the Flinstones and wear a headband to keep the rest of it out of my face. My hair has also become a part of my identity. I'm sure a description would be that "girl with the long red hair". Not anymore. Anyway, I thought you would enjoy seeing the photos of my hair. I think there is enough to make 2 wigs since my hair is so thick! Its a great cause so that's what i'm telling myself every time I miss my security blanket.
