Expect It --

If you are having a baby anytime soon and are inviting me to a baby shower, you can expect your gift to include one of the wonderful creations from my friend, Alison. She owns a stationary business called The English Pea. She is very talented and has tons of cute stuff. My "token gift" has been the blank note cards with the child's name on them. If you are not finding out what you are having and thus not picking a name, we cannot be friends because I cannot give you this special treat as a shower gift. Ha. Just kidding. Kelli didn't find out she was having a boy but she still has precious note cards with Nolan's name. I have given this as a gift for the last 4 or 5 babies that were born. If you know me well, you know that I have been bombarded with babies in my life and I don't really see an end in sight. Since I love Alison's stuff so much, I also ordered her Valentines Day cards. If you did not get one of these in the mail its not because I didn't think of you. I ran out of time and didn't finish my V-day cards, much like I didn't send Christmas or New Years cards this year.  You will likely be receiving a "happy spring" card to make up for my lack of time. Its not because you are not important, because you are! My card writing did not go in any particular order. I'm taking this opportunity to say I'm sorry ...if you felt left out.  Take the photos below as your Happy Valentines! I'm trying to be better about keeping up with all of the 'thoughtful' things I used to be so good at but Split Second Photography has taken that from me. ...ps. I'm not complaining. I feel blessed to have the gift of photography. I just wish I had about 6 extra hours in a day. That would be helpful. :)
