Kimmel Visit Part II

When Wes picked us up from Greenwich CT, he drove us to Manhattan. That night we ate at a delicious spanish restaurant called SEVILLA -- the city where Brad & I met in Spain. We ate with Kevin, Blair & Wes. We had some great paella! That night we stayed at Wes' apartment and the next day we woke up late (which was great). We met Brad (Boulder) for lunch at our favorite burrito restaurant in the city, Blockheads. We LOVE this place and we eat here every time we are in NY. It was great to see Brad and to catch up. His wife, Sara, was at work and could not meet us.
After lunch, Brad and I went to Rockafeller Center so we could go to the top and see the view of the skyline. It was a little foggy but I still got a couple of great shots. Going to the top of Rockafeller is a little "touristy" so I was surprised that Brad wanted to do it. Im sure he just knew that I would want to do it. Plus, it reminds us of one of the shows we watch, 30 Rock. Brad is also a little afraid of heights so it was entertaining watching him walk around so high up! After "Top of the Rock", we walked around Central Park and watched the ice skaters. We headed back to Wes' apartment to rest before dinner since we knew we would be out late.

We had dinner at a German restaurant called Lederhosen. They have VERY big beers. & if you have ever seen the movie Beerfest, we also drank out of a glass boot. Das Boot. haha! It was me, Brad, Kev, Blair, Josh, Shannon & Wes. It was so much fun! After dinner we went to the Village Tavern and hungout. My cousin, Chris, met up with us and he brought his girlfriend, Michelle. It was so great to see him and to catch up! It was a late night but we had a blast and I only did a little babysitting of Wes & Brad. Plus, we had a late night slice of pizza...which was delicious! Nothing like NY Pizza to put the perfect ending on a fun night!
