Play date with the twins
On March 10th, we finally had our first play date with the Lamar twins - Leroy IV and Loxley. The Lamars came over and we just hung out. I made a casserole and we let Loxley and Will play as baby Leroy watched from afar. Leroy has been in the hospital a lot lately as they are trying to find out what is wrong with his low oxygen levels (breathing problems) and abnormal heart rate. He has been on a heart monitor and breathing machine for several weeks. He was supposed to have the surgery that would give him an anus but the breathing issues have postponed the surgery. Please keep the amazing Lamar family in your prayers. This family means so much to me and it hurts my heart to see baby Leroy in the hospital so much. Daddy Leroy, Janelle & Lox want to be a family of four but the frequent hospital visits make any type of "normalcy" very difficult. Pray that Leroy IV's doctors will be able to diagnose him soon and not just "treat the symptoms". Janelle tells me that some of the breathing difficulties may be because Leroy has Downs Syndrome but the still want the Specialist to diagnose all of the issues he has been having.
We enjoyed our play date and we hope to do it again really soon!!
