Fun...while it lasted.

May 28th -30th - Brad and I spent a lot of time by the pool and relaxing over Memorial Day Weekend. It as the first time in 4 months that we had an entire weekend without anything planned. I had one goal: Do not leave the DeWeese/Kimmel compound (some say that sounds creepy..haha). I ended up having to take my parents to the airport on Saturday because my sister was sick but that is the only time I left and Brad succeeded at his goal and didn't leave. We had a great weekend! On Saturday Lauren & Rian brought Savannah over for her first dip in the pool and then on Monday they came back over so I could take Savannah's 7 month photos.  We enjoyed good food all weekend and It felt SO good to have my big belly in the relaxing pool! It was awesome to get a little bit of exercise that wasn't strenuous in any way. ....little did I know that I would be put on bed rest just a few days later and wouldn't be able to enjoy the pool at all! :( The pool time was one of the things that I was looking forward to this summer to help pass the time before William decides to make his arrival. Oh well. I'm pretty stinkin' bored most of the time but I do find ways to pass the time and I've been following the Dr's instructions to keep our sweet boy as safe as possible. The pool time was fun while it lasted. Maybe I'll be able to get back in before the summer is over!?  In the mean time - just look at how adorable sweet Savannah is. Doesn't she look like a cherub?
