Sweet Gift

As you all know, I adore my mother-in-law. I know many of you don't have the best relationships with your in-laws so I've always counted myself very blessed! A few weeks after I found out I was pregnant my very thoughtful mother-in-law sent this bear from the Vermont Teddy Bear Co (she went while visiting her brother in VT). It says Bearfoot & Pregnant on the front and has my name on the back. Its also holding an ice cream cone with a pickle on top! Its very fitting to post these photos tonight since I just finished eating some pickles and I could go for some ice cream right about now too....luckily there isn't any in the house & we are snowed in due to the 5-1/2 inches of snow we got on Sunday night (1/9/11) and then its iced over since. I attempted to go to to work today but the ice on 92 was really thick and dangerous so I turned around. I couldn't make it up the driveway so Brad took my car to mom & dad's to see if he could make it up there. No luck. My car slid back and almost went in the ditch. Brad spent the next couple of hours scraping the ice away from my car so he could get it up the driveway a little bit more (so it didn't slide back into the road). What a day! I hope work realizes what kind of stress people put themselves through when they open the office on days like today (thank the Lord they closed on monday & tuesday).
