Greatful for the Dysfunction

Sarah fit right into my copper pot!

Karch was trying to sleep and Sarah wanted to put her stroller on him. ha!

Sarah was telling Karch to "blow" his nose

My co-worker gave Sarah this ADORABLE coat. I had to take a photo so she could see how cute it is!

Sarah FINALLY ate her dinner. She wasn't feeling very well.

Mid-afternoon nap

Chulo discovered that Sarah didn't eat her dinner.

I enjoyed setting the table with all the things I don't use often.

I managed to make the brie cheese smoke in the oven so we had to open the windows.

I love this photo of Sarah & Uncle Sean. So sweet!

Besitos for aunt Chrissy

I am so tired right now but I thought I better post some photos since there will be plenty more to post throughout the rest of the weekend!

Since Brad and I have a big home now (& 2 ovens) we host Thanksgiving. This was the 2nd year in a row so its not exactly a family tradition yet but I hope it will be. I had been thinking abou it and planning for a couple of weeks now and trying to coordinate what mom, Toni, Chrissy, Kquvien & myself were going to make. Im so glad I have my female family members to help because there is NO WAY I could do it by myself. There were 10-1/2 of us this year. Of course, Sarah Belle was the 1/2. She was not feeling well all day but she was still a blast to have around. She amazes me how smart she is and how quickly she is growing up. Im sure im partial but I swear that kid is smart! I can't understand everything she says but she will look straight at you or something she is doing and rattle off 5 or 6 words in a complete sentence that she wants so badly for you to understand. She says other things that I can definitely understand.
"NO", Agua, Turkey, Mama, Book, Doggie, Hat, and the list goes on and on.

Im sure everyone thinks their family is a bit dysfunctional and that is no different for me. We all have different types of strong personalities and when you get us all together, it can be pretty overwhelming. My sister has a new boyfriend so I can't imagine what he thought. All I can say is that its bound to happen at some point so you might as well break him in early! ha!
Brad says he remembers when he met my family for the first time. He said it was rough because everyone is so hard on each other. Its all out of love and while my family can be hard to deal with sometimes, I am thankful for each and every one of them and their dysfunctional ways.
I hope Jeremy sticks around because he seems like a really nice guy and I always tell my husband that it takes a real man to put up with my family.

I hope you enjoy the gazillion photos from Thankgiving Day.
