Anniversary Weekend

This weekend Brad & I celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary (its actually tomorrow). We had a great weekend together and I wish every weekend was as relaxing yet eventful as this one. On friday night we had dinner with Rian & Lauren (2 friends that we actually met a little over a year ago when we lived in the apartment...and then after we moved they happened to move less than 10 minutes away!!). Saturday we had a low key day at home. We slept in!! The first time I have slept past 8:00 in over 8 months! It felt great! Last night we went to eat at Cuerno (a new Spanish Restaurant in Atlanta -- Eclipse di Luna is still our favorite). It was fun to try a new restaurant and it was nice to go on a date. On the way home from dinner we stopped at Rian & Lauren's for a few drinks (today is Rian's 29th bday and they had some people over last night). This morning Brad cooked me beignets & coffee, we went to lunch, (notice I didn't cook AT ALL this weekend -- wow!) went to pick up copies of our taxes & went on a hike around the property to look at all the beautiful dogwoods!!
Brad is out right now picking up a new weed whacker (exciting, huh?) and I am cleaning the house. We will probably watch a movie together in a little while! Tomorrow (our actual anniversary) we plan to stay in, drink some wine & sit by the fire pit if its not too cold out!! Oh, & we also have to cover some of the blueberry bushes tomorrow night since it is supposed to frost and the bushes already have their blooms. This same thing happened last year and we didn't have nearly as many blueberries!! It really sucked so this year we are going to cover at leat 10 of the bushes with sheets to see if that will help!?!? Wish us luck!
