Project GTFPOTC

I think this photo is one of my all time favorites. Its so symoblic.

For those of you who know me well, know that ever since I purchased my digital canon in March of 2006, I have taken thousands of photos. They are all so neatly stored on our computer's hard drive and as you can imagine Brad is very frustrated...so I would like to call this project GTFPOTC.
"Get the F'in photos off the computer"
No seriously, he didn't actually say that but I know that's what he is thinking. He has actually been asking nicely over the past several months and its just so overwhelming to see two years worth of photos saved on the computer. This is especially frustrating for me since it basically demonstrates how far behind I am in my scrapbooking! I just don't feel like my life is in order since two things that I love so much are completely aray -- photos & scrapbooking. Call me what you may -- a nerd, a loser or what have you but these are the things that I hope, one day, my children will appreciate. So, with that said, I am continuing the CD archival system.
I actually started this a few months ago and saved May-Sept 2006 on disc and then I stopped. My plan is to copy the photos over to disc as I have completed the corresponding scrapbook pages. Great plan, right? As I go through these photos I see some that I would like to share with my 3 loyal readers. One wonderful thing about not doing anything with photos over two years, is that it brings back some wonderful memories.
I will be sharing a few here & there -- so enjoy! :)
ps. if you ever wonder how I know when these events took place, its because I keep my planners. I have a drawer I keep them in and I have every planner since 2002 -- a little something you probably didn't know about me but probably doesn't surprise you!

Moutain Day 2006. Each year the girls and I take a "rock photo". This one only has 1/2 of the group but it was still a lot of fun! I think this is the 6th or 7th rock picture!?!? can that be right?
I could find out by looking at past photos but that would be too much work.

Also in October we flew up to NY because Andrew & Caitlin were married in Cape Cod.
We flew into NY so we could see Brad's mom and that afternoon we went hiking. The next day we drove to Cape Cod and had a great time at the Pig wedding.

I love this photo of Becky & Josh because the ocean looks like it goes on forever!

& this one of Jody & Bird because they always look so happy together & they have so much fun!

I love Caitlin's expression in this photo. She looks sooo happy!
& that's SOME of what we did in October 2006 -- & I will now delete them from the hard drive since the disc is finished burning. Are you proud, or what?
