• At your 6 month appointment, you weighed 17.6 lbs (52 percentile) and were 26 inches long (33rd percentile).
• You are still in size two diapers but as soon as we run out of the current box, I'm going to switch you to size 3 because we already have some of those and there's no point in buying a whole new box of 2's :)
• You mostly wear 6-9 month outfits and pajamas. It depends on the brand. 9 month polo definitely fits you better than 6 month.
• You are starting to play in the bath instead of just reaching out when the water is running. You love to splash and put your bath toys in your mouth.
• You LOVE Chulo. You are very interested in what Chulo is doing at all times. You love it when Chulo pays attention to you too. Chulo hasn't quite learned that he just can't lick you constantly. We are working on that but you don't seem to mind! We think he might be showing his way of taking care of you. Even though he's a male dog, he still seems to be showing his motherly side when you are around. You love to pet Chulo and we are teaching you to be "easy" and "gentle". Even though Chulo doesn't mind when you pull his fur or ears, we just never know if one day he will decide its NOT fine!
• You are still so ticklish! You laugh a lot when you are being changed. Daddy & I love to blow on your belly or pretend we are eating your legs to make you laugh.
• You love "This little Piggy". As soon as I grab your big toe and start saying the rhyme, you start to smile.
• Although you love to laugh and be silly, sometimes Its REALLY hard to make you laugh if you are not in the mood. Daddy & I have to work overtime to make you crack a smile and sometimes you just look at us like we are idiots. ha!
• You love it when Daddy is silly with you. I think you are starting to recognize that there are different things that make Daddy and I unique to our parenting styles. Daddy is definitely more wild and crazy fun while mommy is more about the learning fun with the just a little bit silly fun.
• You LOVE your jumpy, the one that doesn't have a base. You jump like a crazy fool and you squeal and laugh while you are doing it. You will even jump if you are starting to get upset. You wont stop jumping even though you are tired!
• You have been eating solids for over a month now. You started with cereal, then pureed peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, bananas, squash, apple sauce and even a apple/plum blend. You love eating solids. Sometimes you eat better than others but typically you breastfeed in the morning around 5:45, you have 2 tablespoons of cereal & 2 tablespoons of fruit around 8, then 4 ounces of a bottle around 8:30, around 5 ounces at 11, a jar of a veggie OR 1/2 veggie - 1/2 fruit around 12:30 and a few ounces of a bottle around 3ish. Lately you've even had 1-2 tablespoons of a solid for a snack around 4. This is because the other kids at daycare are having a snack and you have to be RIGHT in the MIDDLE of all of the action. You have 3 tablespoons of cereal and a 1/2 a jar of veggie for dinner around 5:45. I nurse you a little bit around 6 and then again at 8 before bed. You nurse the most right before bed. That hasn't changed!
• You have associated the high chair with eating and so Mommy has to prepare your food before we put you in your chair or you will get upset. You will sit in your chair just fine if you've already eaten. Miss TT says that you do something similar at daycare and over the past couple of weeks, you even get upset if someone else (Aubrey, the 10 month old) is in the high chair eating and you are not. You are very aware of what the other kids are doing and this entertains you.
