Night out

Above: Brad and I bought this shirt for our unborn William when we went on our babymoon to Cancun in February 2011. We had just found out that he was going to be a boy right before we left and we were so excited to be able to buy him something from our trip. I picked out this shirt that has turtles on it because I thought it was "boyish". I put it in Will's dresser when we returned from our trip and for the past few months I thought it was too big (it said "small" instead of month sizes) so while packing up some clothes that he had grown out of, I came across this shirt, picked it up and thought it was already too small!! I put it on him and it was snug but it's such a special shirt that I kept it on him so I could at least get a few photos. Brad called it his "belly shirt". It makes me laugh with that little chunky belly hanging out! Love it. 
On December 10th, Brad and I attended my office holiday party at the 200 Peachtree Event Center. We got there around 6:30 and stayed til almost 9. We ate some good food and had a good time getting out of the house together! Mom watched William and he did great. This was the first time that someone other than myself put William to bed. He always nurses to sleep but he took a bottle like a champ and slept pretty well. I still think he sleeps better when I nurse him to sleep but it was only one time so Its hard to say. 

We hung out with Courtney & Patrick a lot at the party. Patrick started working for McM last February and of course I was on maternity leave for 6 months. Its fun to have the husband of my close friend at work even if I don't see him around that often. It was also awesome to see Janelle & Leroy out & about. Janelle's parents were in from Australia and were watching the twins. Baby Leroy (aka. Quatrro) had his second surgery on Monday January 9th to have the feeding tube inserted. He will have the surgery for his anus in a few more weeks and a few weeks after that he'll have the surgery to connect the two. Please keep Janelle & Leroy Sr in your prayers. She is returning to work next week. I know I felt overwhelmed when I returned to work with one kid - much less returning with twins and one of which has special needs! I'm sure it will be quite the adjustment for daddy Leroy as well. Baby Loxley & Baby Leroy will be attending different day cares at first.
