We are so lucky to have so many great family & friends that so graciously brought us meals since being home with baby William. Brad and I are so thankful for the time & effort that everyone took to make sure we were well fed :) You all have NO Idea how appreciative we are!!
We arrived home from the hospital around 2:30pm and a few hours later, Amy stopped by with Paxton & a delicious dinner. I opened the door and Pax was asleep in her arms! Hopefully he didn't smush baby Parker. haha. Pax was very tired but warmed up a little bit and I was able to talk him into a couple of photos. I told him his Aunt Sarah really wanted a photo of Will & Pax together so that worked to make him crack a smile.
Chrissy & ESPECIALLY my mom have been a huge help! My mom has provided several meals and its just helpful when one of them offers to hold Will a little bit while I eat or do something quickly around the house. He hasn't really liked being in his vibrating seat or swing so he really only prefers to be held!
Lauren & Rian came over on Friday with Savannah. She is as cute as ever! This was there first time meeting baby Will since they were in New Hampshire at Lauren's parents lake house for a week. Lauren actually did the cooking for us since Ri had an interview for a cooking demo that day :) It was really good even though she was worried Rian wouldn't think so. I bet having a husband that is a chef can be good & bad!
Patrick & Courtney brought George over on Saturday. George LOVED Chulo and it was very entertaining. Every time Chulo would bark or lick him, George would laugh really hard! Courtney said it had been awhile since she had heard them laugh that hard. It was great to see them since I used to see Patrick everyday at work. I was craving chocolate chip cookies and he made a batch! Plus, Courtney made 2 things of manicotti for the freezer and one serving of shrimp enchiladas for that night. It was all so good!
Summer came over on Monday with Maddux. Chulo was so excited and I'm pretty sure he was the most exhausted hes been in a really long time from playing so hard with him! They ran around the backyard so much and since it was so hot, we decided to take them to mom & dad's pool for a few minutes. Mom watched Will for me while we hungout a little bit. Summer brought the best chicken pot pie I've ever had. It tasted so homemade! I really enjoyed our quality time, it had been way too long!
Sarah spent some quality time with us on Wednesday and brought a really good dinner of bbq ribs, pasta salad & corn. We had a good time hanging out and chatting even though I really felt out of it this day!
She also brought me a wonderful devotional book for mothers that I've really enjoyed and deserves a blog post all of its own -- so I hope to get to that soon!
Alison stopped by on Thursday and brought a delish meal of grilled chicken & mango salsa. She also brought some sweet potato souflee that I really enjoyed for breakfast a few days & some zucchini bread that I snacked on during those late night feedings. Mmmm. Perfect snack! :)

They came over on Sunday and brought a wonderful spread of some of my favorite things -- including Josa's pasta salad & Kelli's pimiento cheese. yummy! I really enjoyed our laughs and just hanging out!
Jenny & Lauren came to visit on August 1st after work and brought a home cooked meal! I told Jenny that was amazing to me :) She made a very good mushroom & chicken casserole and a whole dish of brownies. (yikes). Lauren brought delicious bread and salad from whole foods :)
Lauren is due with a boy on October 15th so we talked "baby stuff" and It was so weird that I actually had a little bit of advice to lend. Even if it was only a couple of weeks worth. :)
So excited for Lauren & Jarrod and to have yet ANOTHER little boy joining our group.
I laughed a lot this night and it was a fun visit!

Lauryn & Jami brought yummy pasta from an italian restaurant named Figo. I got mushroom & chicken marsala ravioli with peccorino sauce. It was very good!
Jami had worked all day and Lauryn had just flown in from working in NY so we really appreciated the dinner when they had such a busy night.
Lindsay Agan also brought a yummy meal but I didn't get a photo of her holding Will since he was sleeping. Ill post a photo of her soon though since she held him at August Supper Club :).
I'm so appreciative of all my great girl friends taking time out of their busy schedules to visit and bring amazing meals. This was such a huge blessing during the first couple of weeks. I'm just now getting used to things and finally getting dinner on the table all by myself this week (Will is now 3-1/2 weeks) so I'm not sure I could have done it the first 2 weeks without the help of these great friends!!
