Tradition

Mountain Day is a Berry tradition and if you are interested on the history click here.

It is a tradition for my friends and I to go to Mountain Day (Berry's Homecoming) and just enjoy the day together. Unfortunately not many of my friends went this year for several different reasons but Amy, Paxton, Sarah, Gabe and I all met in Rome to enjoy the day. I debated on whether or not I wanted to go this year because I just have so much I am behind on with working full-time and getting the photography business up & running but I am glad they talked me into going and it was a fun day!

While we were there we saw some friends that we haven't seen in awhile. I saw Kirstin & Matthew, Kirstin and several others! I also saw my old boss from the print shop, Milton, and I cannot tell you how good it was to see him. He was basically my 2nd father while I was at college. He has the sweetest family and I basically watched his kids grow up while I was at school. He told me today that his oldest just started college and WOW, that made me feel old!

It was a great day and the weather was beautiful!

mmm. This is the restaurant where we buy lunch to take up to the mountain. We always get an Apple, Bacon, Cheddar sandwich but ADD Chicken Salad. Its the best!
