Why Exactly?

For a few weeks now I have been talking to the girls about getting waxed. When I say "waxed" I mean brazilian waxed. Doesn't sound very appealing, does it?
Well, I have been talking about it for so long and I FINALLY decided to do it. Summer emailed me on monday and said that we should do dinner near the waxing place and then I can go get waxed. I think it was a trick or just a reason for me to actually go through with it! I think I would have backed out if I wasn't having dinner with Summer RIGHT ACROSS from the place. Also, thanks to Lauryn for encouraging me this afternoon and giving me a few tips!
Summer and I had a very nice visit. She's just one of those people that I feel the most comfortable with and I can tell anything to so It was nice to see her face before I went to do something so scary!

Ok - It wasn't THAT bad but it was not FUN either! I get in the room and it was this nice hispanic or brazilian woman that knew very little english but enough to tell me what I needed to do. I will not go into too many details so I can keep this a G Rated Blog. haha
It was very painful at first. I had a collared shirt on so I brought my collar up near my mouth so I could bite on it. But after the first few minutes, I must have gone numb because it wasn't that bad. Don't get me wrong, it still hurt but I didn't feel like screaming.

The best part was that I found myself trying not to laugh hysterically. I had to bite my lip as to not laugh out loud. I thought the woman would think I was crazy. I just kept thinking WHY did I want to do this EXACTLY? It doesn't really make the most sense and its not fun. However, now that I did it once it will get easier and easier. With that said, I think we should make a Girls Night out of the next visit! :)
